One of the most common questions we get asked is: “When should I order my tuxedo?” Planning ahead can make all the difference, and we’re here to break down the best timing for you to ensure a smooth rental experience. Here’s everything you need to know about placing your tuxedo order with us!

Order at Least 3 Weeks Before the Event
Ordering your tuxedo at least 3 weeks before your event ensures you still qualify for FREE 10-14 day early delivery (this means your tux will arrive about two weeks early – for FREE!) This gives you plenty of time to try it on, check the fit, and notify us if you need any sizing changes.
While three weeks is our minimum recommended time, the sooner you place your order, the better. Reserving your tuxedo earlier guarantees availability and helps reduce any last-minute stress.
EXTRA-EARLY Delivery Options ARE AVAILABLE
For those who prefer to receive their tuxedo even earlier than the free standard delivery, we offer paid early delivery options for orders placed far enough in advance.
If you order 30+ days before your event, you’ll have two delivery options to choose from:
- FREE Standard Delivery: Arrives 2 weeks before the event.
- Early Delivery ($25): Arrives 3 weeks before the event.
If you order 6+ weeks in advance, you’ll see a third option, Extra-Early Delivery for $50, which allows you to receive your rental about 1 month early.
While our standard (FREE) shipping is still sufficient to accommodate any sizing adjustments, earlier delivery options may be ideal for those traveling, seeking extra peace of mind, or just wanting more time to ensure everything fits perfectly.
What IF I Order Close to the Event DATE?
If you place your order with less than 3 weeks before your event, your order will be considered a “RUSH” order. This does include a rush shipping/processing fee. What does this fee cover? This fee covers the cost of express shipping for your initial tux and any potential sizing exchanges. Rush orders get priority processing to ensure you receive your tuxedo in time, even with the tighter timeline.
