What are the men’s dress codes?
From most to least formal: white tie, black tie, formal, semi-formal, and cocktail, plus relaxed destination and beach looks. Each has a page above with what to wear and looks to rent.
What is the most formal dress code?
White tie. It calls for a black tailcoat, a white waistcoat, and a white bow tie. Black tie, which uses a tuxedo, is the next step down.
What is the difference between black tie and formal?
Black tie specifically requires a tuxedo. Formal is a little more flexible and allows a dark suit as well as a tuxedo.
Can I rent the look instead of buying?
Yes. Every dress code above can be rented as a complete package from $139, sized from home and shipped free both ways.
How early should I order?
We recommend two to three months before the event for a group. Orders arrive about two weeks early so everyone can try on with time to spare.
